Marriage Information Policy

​

Celebrating your marriage is a wonderful event for you, your family, friends, and the church. It is a special day to celebrate the love that God has blessed you with. Our Church of Saint Rita's is blessed as we prepare for the sacrament of Marriage.

​

Marriage is a Sacrament of the Catholic Church. As such, the spiritual preparation of the couple is of primary importance for this celebration. Other aspects (flowers, reserving the hall, etc.) are of secondary importance to the proper preparation of the couple to enter this life-long union in christ.

It is VERY IMPORTANT to obtain the Marriage Guidelines for St. Rita's Catholic Church and read it carefully. Once you have gone over the Marriage Guidelines, please make a appointment to meet with Fr. Juan as soon as possible.

Preparation Process 

​

The Priest and staff of St. Rita's will be happy to help you in every way possible. At your meeting with Fr. Juan, you are able to book your date ONLY if you have all the required documents below.

​

Documents Required:

​

1. A copy of the baptismal certificate with notations from EACH person to be married. This copy must be dated within the last six months. This certificate may be obtained by contacting the church where you were baptized.

​

2. A Certificate of First Communion from EACH person to be married.

​

3. A certificate of Confirmation from EACH person to be married.

​

4. A certificate of Death, if either party is a widow or widower.

​

5. A certificate of Marriage, if the couple is already married.

​

6. Copy of the certificate of annulment, if the person was previously married in the Catholic Church.

​

Permission Letter from Home Parish:

​

If the Bride or Groom belong to a Catholic Church other than St. Rita's, then he or she are to ask their pastor for a letter of permission to be married outside their parish.

​

Personal Expenses:

​

Please understand that the church does not provide or pay for the florist, musicians, singers, soloist, organist, photographer, etc...all of the above is your responsibility.

Informacion Politica De Matrimonio

​

Celebrando su matrimonio es un gran momento para usted, su familia, amigos, y la iglesia.Es un dia especial para celebrar el amor que Dios te ha bendecido. Nuestra Iglesia de Santa Rita está bendecida para prepararse para el Sacramento del matrimonio.

​

El matrimonio es un sacramento de la iglesia Catolica. Como tal, la preparación espiritual de la pareja es de primordial importancia para esta celebración. Otros aspectos (flores, reservado la sala, etc) son de importancia secundaria para la preparación adecuada de la pareja para entrar en esta union de toda la vida en Cristo. Una vez que haya recibido la Politica de Matrimonio de la Iglesia Catolica de Santa Rita, por favor haga una cita para reunirse con el padre Juan lo antes posible.

Proceso De Preparación

​

El sacerdote y el personal de Santa Rita estará encantado de ayudarle en todo lo posible con sus planes para que su boda sea un éxito y hermosa. En su reunión con el padre Ivan, usted puede reservar la fecha de matrimonio solo si tiene toda la documentación requerida que se encuentra el la parte de Documentos Requeridos.

Documentos Requeridos

 

1. Una copia del certificado de bautismo con anotaciones de cada persona que va a casarse. Esta copia debe estar registrada dentro de los últimos seis meses. Este certificado se puede obtener poniéndose en contacto con la iglesia de su bautismo.

 

2. Un certificado de Primera Comunión de CADA persona que va a casarse.

3. Un certificado de la confirmación de cada persona que se va a casar. La copia debe estar registrada dentro de los últimos seis meses.

​

4. Un certificado de defunción si cualquiera de los dos son una viuda o viudo.

​

5. Un certificado de matrimonio si la pareja ya está casada.

​

6. Copia del certificado de anulación si la persona estaba casada anteriormente en la Iglesia Catolica.

​

Permiso de la parroquia de casa:

​

Si la novia o el novio pertenecen a una Iglesia Católica que no sea Santa Rita, entonces él o ella deben preguntar a su pastor por una carta de permiso para casarse fuera de su parroquia.

​

Gastos Personales:

 

Por Favor, comprenda que la iglesia no dispone o paga por la florista, musicos, cantantes, solista, organista, fotografo, etc...todo esto es la responsabilidad de la novia y el novio. 

​
